My name is Liam – I’m a cybersecurity enthusiast and all-around nerd based out of Brisbane, Australia that loves all things security, hacking, intelligence and cybercrime.

What I publish on this blog is a central point of presence for myself on the internet, primarily as a notepad and brain dump, but also as a reference for other people attempting to get into cybersecurity to learn alongside me, or at the very least read back and hopefully take away something useful.

I’ve been working within IT and had an interesting in cybersecurity for approximately 3 years as of writing this section, primarily within network security, penetration testing and the cloud.

I love working within Linux, specifically Kali Linux. I primarily study via TryHackMe (link to my profile) and love engaging with the community on all things cyber.

My largest time sink currently is my home lab setup. This currently consists of:

  • A Dell workstation running Proxmox, hosting:
    • Jellyfin
    • Wireguard
    • Nextcloud
    • Docker (Nessus & Splunk)
    • Debian Linux for testing purposes
  • A refurbished Sophos Firewall running OPNsense
  • A L3 switch with VLANs

Please reach out to me if you have any suggestions on what I could use my home lab setup for, as I love trying new things!
